Wondering About Things

I have always been wondering about a lot of things. So, my mind is a jumbled up cacophony of thoughts clashing with each other. Primarily, I would love to put down my priorities in order:

1. Write
2. Look out for a better job role that pays well and also gives me time for myself

Recently (actually yesterday), I read a short story of Haruki Murakami. It is one of those that appeared in The NewYorker (http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2014/10/13/scheherazade-3).

I have been thinking of some stories on these lines but haven't been able to put down on paper. Eventually will do that.

Talking scorpion

In one of my dreams, I see that there are scorpions inside the house. I am in a particular room where the door opens to the corridor with one frosted glass window to the either side of the door. It is sunny outside. The bed is placed horizontally parellel to the door. I see the scorpion which is quite big roaming around the house fearlessly and I too am not scared of it. Seems that I am used to it. I also see a white spider hanging or I guess, it is coming down to the ground. Somehow (I do not remember this part), I help the scorpion to get to the bed and then see it with a torch in the claw going around on the bed looking for something.
And then it looks at me and shouts, "The next time I come, remind me to get a bike. I have a lot of gadgets with me these days."

Kali Dream

I saw a dream a few days ago where I see a place similar to some place in Spain. The houses were quite colorful, Then I see my friend sitting against a wall. The  dream changes. I see Dakshineswar Kali. Quite vibrant and detailed. It was a WOW moment for me.

Sapthagiri Temple dream

This time my dream begins with a trip to an imaginary place called Sapthagiri with my sister who lives in California currently. We are traveling in a bus. The bus has 3 rows of seats lengthwise and we are sitting in the middle down along with others. Some discussion about Narayani Temple is on in the bus. There is a tall school kid in a white shirt sitting next to my sister. I ask him whether the coming stop is Sapthagiri or not. He nods his head. Later on, I find that he was wrong and so, confront him why he lied. He replies, he felt like lying.

Then, we get down at a place and the dream fades out.

The next moment I dream following the tall school kid in a place surrounded by small houses like the ones with narrow streets. The kid is dressed in a white shirt, blue short pant and has a small school bag on his back. I find myself in a room where a girl is studying and the kid is in the other room. The girl is dressed in white with the hairs tied in a red ribbon The doors are dark green in color although they seem pretty old. There are 2 doors in between which there is a wall. The right side of the right door has a couple of big cupboards that are again painted in dark green. The table where the girl is studying seems to be placed besides the wall separating the two doors. The kid speaks something to the girl and then I leave.

As I am moving out of the building, I encounter a house where my friends are staying. It seems to be their mess. They are playing, fighting and are having fun over the game. When I enter, they are surprised to see me. I ask them, "Hey! Missed me? Long time no see." They do not pay heed to me and carry on as if I am  a stranger.

Then I recall again going towards the temple alone when I meet a Nepalese girl. There is a drain flowing which needs to be crossed. She happily crosses it and then shows her feet to the plants near the drain. They spray water and clean up the feet. I surprisingly look at her. She gives a cute smile.

Then I find myself having crossed the drain, along a broad village road leading to a white temple which is situated towards my left about 50 feet from the place I stand.

Well, this was the end of the dream.

Later on, doing a search on "Sapthagiri", I found that it a a group of hills just before Tirupati and Tirupati is none other than Sri Narayan also known as Lord Vishnu.

An interesting dream

Yesterday night, I dreamt of traveling across cities and in every city, my wife was a princess. I married her. Then I see a kid playing in a beautiful garden. The garden had a nice structure in the middle and I was sitting inside that enjoying the breath-taking view.

Later on, I come to know that I am the father of the kid and the kid is none other than Lord Ganesha (The Elephant Headed God). He was so cute and cuddly.

Movie Actor in Dream

I dreamt that I was talking to a Bollywood movie actor "Akshay Kumar" in my ancestral home. We were conversing about martial arts. The conversation seemed interesting although I do not remember the details. However, towards the end of the dream, I asked, "Do you know TaiChi?" He simply smiled and replied, "Yes, I do."

"Can you teach me?"
"Well... we will see to that later."

The dream ended.

The Krishna Dream

I had a vision a few minutes ago which I thought should be written down in the blog. It was for a split of a second.

There was a frame in golden color with a B/W photograph towards the end of probably a kid sitting in a pram and the background was a playground. I was flying into the photograph but the dream was out before I could reach. However, while flying, I saw towards my side there were huge 3D frames probably made of paper which were colorful and the art in those papers resembled the ISKCON paintings of Krishna and Gopis dancing.

It was a relaxing dream though.
